Anti-Social

No more talking face to face
Now the silence takes it's place
Given time to think it through
Every thought to calculate

So many ways to find yourself
But still we struggle for some help
Alone in all our tiny rooms
Involved with almost no one else

Anti-social, anti-trust
Our old ideals have turned to dust
Fast and hard, it's soft and plush
But it doesn't mean much
No it doesn't mean much

Wasted gifts to lock away
Pretending we can stop and wait
While every message moves so fast
There's no time left to try and save

For all the ones you love the most
They're passing through like living ghosts
But still we're only parts they've cast
And there's nothing much that we don't know

Anti-social, anti-trust
Our old ideals have turned to dust
Fast and hard, it's soft and plush
But it doesn't mean much
No it doesn't mean much

I'm here and there and everywhere
You can always keep me company
We're here and there and everywhere
But it's never where we want to be
Never where we want to be
